Kristin Zimmerman

Kristin's introduction to the Real Estate world in 2021 was heavily influenced by her Aunt and mentor, Lorraine Thomas, who served as the Sales Manager for 10+ years at a small brokerage on-site at the 55+ Community, Five Towns in Pinellas County. "I was in college when the opportunity to work alongside my Aunt Lorraine presented itself, but I knew I would never get another chance at that precious time with her, or the opportunity to learn the ropes of Real Estate from family," says Kristin. In 2022, Lorraine retired and Kristin took over the office as Sales Manager after less than a year in the industry. Since the start of her career, Kristin has successfully managed the brokerage, brought on two other agents, and closed 30+ transactions of varying complexity, on both the buyer and the seller side. "I am forever grateful to my Aunt Lorraine, she is truly the best teacher I have ever had and I would not be where I am today if she had not taken a chance on me," she says.

Prior to Real Estate, Kristin acquired her relentless work ethic while she traveled the world as a Navy Damage Controlman (2011 - 2015), where she proudly served onboard the USS Benfold (DDG 65) stationed in San Diego, California. "...but out of all the places I’ve ever been, St Petersburg is my absolute favorite and I’m so honored to serve the wonderful people here, and call it home!" she says. Kristin attributes her attention to detail to her experience as an Recruiting Production Assistant at Orion Talent (2017 - 2019) where she helped to place veterans and transitioning military into civilian roles, from editing hundreds of resumes to scheduling hiring conferences across the Southeast Region. Kristin earned her Associates in Communications with a focus on Video Production just before taking the leap into Real Estate, which lends itself to the creative and fun side of being an agent! "The best part of the job is getting to help market my client's home so that it shows in its best light, capturing the character and essence of a beloved home. It's truly rewarding when it all comes together." says Kristin.

When Kristin is not helping her clients find and sell their homes, she can be found roller skating or walking her dogs in Vinoy Park and the St Pete pier, spending time with family and loved ones, or checking out a new restaurant with some friends!
